Order pay
You have the option to pay online in different ways . You can see this below:
Ideal / Klarna / IN3 / Credit card / Bancontact
During the ordering process you choose one of these options. If you continue, you will automatically enter the secure payment environment. If you have chosen Klarna or IN3, you are then responsible for payments to Klarna or IN3.
Yes, that is possible with us. With post-payment you can place an order immediately, and you only have to pay once you have received and checked the order. This way you know for sure what you are paying for. You can pay when it suits you best, within the payment term of 14 days.
With the IN3 payment method you can pay for your order easily and free of charge in 3 installments without interest. Without interest and BKR registration! To be able to pay via in3, your order amounts to a minimum of €100 and a maximum of €3000 excluding VAT. You pay the first part when ordering. You pay the 2nd part in 30 days and the 3rd part in 60 days.
Unfortunately you can no longer change or cancel your order. Orders placed are processed almost immediately. Our order process is fully automated and is processed in a robotized warehouse. You can always return the order within 30 days. Read the conditions for returns here.
Very annoying of course if you have a nice bike in mind and the order is refused by the payment method in question. Unfortunately we cannot do anything about this. It is best to contact the relevant payment method to ask the reason for refusal and to resolve this. If you are still refused, you can pay and complete the order using one of our other payment methods.
Delivery & Returns
If you order a Rivena, we will deliver it directly to your home so that you can ride it straight away. The bicycle is transported in a box to reduce the risk of transport damage. This means that the individual parts, such as the pedals and the handlebars, still have to be mounted.
All our e-bikes are directly available from stock. In most cases, if your bicycle is ordered before 5:00 PM on workdays, it will be delivered to your home the next day. If you place the order after 5:00 PM, the delivery time is 2 working days.
Yes, ordered bicycles are delivered free of charge. You simply receive your bicycle at your home via a delivery person. You will receive a track & trace code via email.
Accessories are sent separately. You will also receive a track & trace code from the carrier.
You don't just buy an e-bike. And ordering online may be even more exciting. That is why you can use your bicycle at Rivena for 30 days with a return guarantee, read the conditions here . If it turns out that electric cycling is not for you and you want to return the bicycle, please email our service desk. They will ensure that the bicycle will be picked up.
Warranty & Maintenance
We provide a 5-year warranty on our electric bicycles against material and construction defects in the frame and front fork. We provide a maximum 2-year warranty on the other parts. Read more about the warranty on all other bicycle parts.

At Rivena we take the utmost care in the manufacture of every new bicycle, so that it is completely good. Nevertheless, it is normal that over time some parts may become slightly looser. To ensure that you can enjoy your new Rivena (and indeed any other bicycle) for many carefree years, we recommend having it professionally checked after three months or after covering 1000 kilometers.
Had your first check? Then we recommend having your bicycle proactively maintained every 5 to 7 months, so that you can always enjoy cycling.
We definitely recommend minor maintenance on your electric bicycle. Check your tire pressure regularly with a bicycle pump with barometer. You can also check your lighting yourself. After cycling on gritted cycle paths, we also recommend that you make the e-bike brine-free.
It is always annoying when your bicycle is stolen. As soon as this is the case and you have insured your bicycle, report this to the relevant insurance company. It is also important that an official report is drawn up. This can easily be done online.
Your bicycle has been damaged due to a fall or accident. Hopefully you are completely fine yourself. In our workshop we can help you repair the bicycle by appointment. With theft and damage insurance you are also insured for this.
Cycle through work
It is now possible to purchase an electric bicycle with the well-known tax benefits under the so-called work costs scheme, abbreviated as WKR. It is also possible to use the National Cycling Plan. The National Bicycle Plan allows you to purchase a new e-bike with a tax benefit through your employer once every three years. Learn more about the benefits of the bicycle plan.
Rivena is affiliated with important initiatives such as the National Bicycle Plan (NFP) and Fiscfree. In this way we encourage the use of the bicycle as a means of transport to work, instead of the car. What's even better is that you can purchase a fantastic electric bicycle from Rivena through your employer with tax benefits.
