Warranty on parts

Frame

Five year warranty on the frame.

Electronic Components

One year warranty on all electronic components, including the motor, controller, sensor and display.

Battery

Two year warranty on the battery. However, this warranty only applies to defects and possible manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear due to charging is not covered by the warranty. This is because incorrect charging and discharging can damage the battery.

Parts subject to wear or weather influences

No warranty on parts such as saddles, tires, chains, chainrings, cables, suspension and brake pads, unless there are material, construction or assembly errors.

What is never covered by the warranty on a bicycle?

  • Water damage to battery and display.
  • Damage to sensitive parts (such as tires, bicycle chain, sprockets, brake pads, cables).
  • Fall and impact damage.

Warranty Exclusions:

The following warranty exclusions apply:

  • Fall or impact damage to parts such as batteries, display, chargers, etc.
  • Self-opened parts and/or attempts at self-repair.
  • Wear and tear of the battery is not covered by the warranty. Capacity loss of 20% or less per year is not covered by the warranty.
  • The warranty is void if the battery is deeply discharged due to a charging interval that is too long.
